    Focusing on the wrong thing

    When it comes to ADHD, it is so easy to focus on the negative, the challenges, and the struggles of having this type of brain. It’s something that I have been guilty of doing. I’m sure I’m not the only one with ADHD who has focused on the negative side of this disorder. It can be so easy to forget about the good aspects of having ADHD.     It’s not all bad

    Sometimes, it can be so easy to focus on the bad and the negative. No matter it might be in life, it can be so easy to just think about and focus on the bad things that may happen in our lives.     I am more than just someone with ADHD

    Growing up, my ADHD wasn’t much discussed. I remember having very few discussions with my parents about it. Even now, I don’t talk much about it other than occasionally with my husband and through this blog. I am 32, was diagnosed 20 years ago, and I’ve never addressed it much. Never really asked my parents questions about it, or anything like that. My way of dealing with it for the most part has just been avoiding it.
