    Issue with Math

    Let’s face it, not everyone likes math. It’s definitely not everyone’s cup of tea. For the most part, a lot of it isn’t too difficult. We can learn it with practice and such. However, it’s not so simple for some. Some individuals have what is called dyscalculia. In other words, a math learning disability. Those who have dyscalculia struggle with learning concepts relating to numbers, perform math calculations, and perform so many basic math skills. This learning disorder is just as common as dyslexia, although perhaps not as well understood.     Today’s post is the first of a series of posts I want to do about learning disabilities, as many people are diagnosed with them. Some are diagnosed with ADHD and a learning disability, while others with just one of them. The first learning disability I want to discuss is dyslexia. So, what is dyslexia?     The topic of learning disabilities isn’t one that I’ve covered yet and feel that it’s time to discuss it. Like ADHD, learning disabilities affect kids and adults alike and can be challenging for those affected by these. Learning disabilities are conditions which affects the person’s abilities to comprehend and/or process information. It affects many different individuals.
