January has come and gone. And now we find ourselves already in February. Feels as though it’s gone pretty quickly. Not sure where January went, but here we are in February.
And with that, it means time to look at another topic. So, let’s get to it!
What’s the Topic?
There were a few topics that I did consider focusing on for this month. I took some time to think which one might be best. Thought of what my focus would be each week for each topic. Wasn’t easy picking one. At times, I don’t always have an easy time choosing or making a decision.
Finally, I decided that I would just make a decision, go with one, and work with the one I chose.
So, the topic of this month is self-sabotage.
Where the Idea Came From
Self-sabotage is a term I had heard before, but wasn’t familiar with until I read the book “The Mountain Is You” by Brianna West last fall.
In this book, the author really dives into self-sabotage, why we do it, and ways we can over come it. This book is aimed to anyone who wants to make some changes in their lives.
I did learn and takeaway a lot from this book and would recommend it.
After reading this book, I looked a little more into the subject of self-sabotage. Looking into self-sabotage itself and also in relation to ADHD.
On That Note
After reading “The Mountain Is You” and looking more into self-sabotage in the fall, the idea of looking into the subject for this blog was always in the back of my mind. I knew it’s a topic I wanted to discuss at some point for a few months now.
What better time than now?
