Today is the first day of October. This may mean different things for different people.
For some, it means the start of ADHD awareness month. A month dedicated to sharing information about ADHD, to educate, and sharing science-based information.
Granted for anyone with ADHD, like myself, we do have to live with it everyday, not just in October.
However, I am grateful that this is taking place and has been for a number of years. I am happy that people are taking the time to share information about ADHD and some are taking time to learn.
So this is definitely a good time to share and learn. Whether we know someone with a learning disability or not, it never hurts to keep an open mind.

Great post. I learned a lot.
I am glad there is a month of awareness about ADHD as I am sure there is so much for many of us who don’t have it to learn. I know a number of people with it (through teaching and my family) so it’s encouraging to see more and more being shared about it. I hope lots of people find out more and support those around them. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your comment. I do hope more people find out about it. It will definitely make a difference.
