Podcasts about ADHD

In the last year or two, I’ve really gotten into listening to podcasts. I listen to podcasts when I go for a walk with my dog, or when I’m doing some cleaning, just to name two.

Some of the podcasts I listen to and enjoy are about ADHD. So here are some that I listen to and absolutely love!

#1: Motherhood in ADHD.

Patricia Sung is a mother of 2 and has ADHD. She shares tips and information for moms with ADHD and struggle with day-to-day tasks. She shares some of her experience as a mom and woman with a neuro-developmental disorder.

I really enjoy this podcast. As a mom with ADHD myself, it’s nice to hear from another mom with ADHD. I do like the information and tips she gives, as they are useful.

#2: I Have ADHD Podcast

Kristen Carder is a life coach and works with adults with ADHD, all while raising 3 boys and having adult ADHD as well. In this podcast, Kristen talks about life with ADHD. She talks about various issues that affect the life of someone with ADHD, good or bad.

This is one of the first podcasts about ADHD that I started to listen to. I love listening to the information and tips that Kristen gives in this podcast. I’ve definitely learned more about ADHD and how it affects us with this podcast. Kristen definitely knows what she’s talking about.

#3: Distraction

Dr. Ned Hallowell is a psychiatrist, speaker, as well as being a best-selling author. Dr. Hallowell specializes in ADHD and helping those with the disorder. In this podcast, he talks about all the distractions that are out there in society. Whether you have ADHD or not, you can definitely learn something from this podcast.

This podcast is really interesting, as I understand a little more about just much we are all distracted. There are so many things to distract us. His advice on how to change and cope is very helpful. Whether you have ADHD or not, go check it out!

#4: The Neurodivergent Narratives Podcast

In this podcast, Sandra Coral shares her experiences with getting a late diagnosis, as a Black woman and a transracial adoptee. She shares what she’s learned and some of the tricks she uses to help with her ADHD.

I discovered this podcast in the last few months and started listening. It is nice to hear from someone with a different background from mine share her experience. As a ‘white’ woman with ADHD, it is is nice to hear from a Black woman share her experiences. Definitely worth listening to it.

Final Thoughts

Here are just some podcasts that I listen to regularly and really enjoy. I am always trying to discover other podcasts on the subject and discovering new ones. Much like a lot of things, some I enjoy a little more than others. But always enjoy trying new things and learning.
