Sometimes, it can be so easy to focus on the bad and the negative. No matter it might be in life, it can be so easy to just think about and focus on the bad things that may happen in our lives. When it comes to ADHD/ADD and you have it, it is no different. I have been guilty of focusing on the negatives of ADHD/ADD.
However, it’s not all bad. There are some good things about having ADHD/ADD. There are some positives.
For those of us who have ADHD/ADD, we can be curious. We tend to think outside the box. We tend to be quite creative and have quite the imagination. We are really compassionate. We really are perseverant. We do have a good sense of observation.
These are just some of the good that those with ADHD/ADD have noticed within themselves.
Over the last few months, I’ve started focusing more on the good with having ADHD/ADD and less with the negative. Sure, ADHD/ADD affects us all differently. So the good might vary depending on who you talk to. However, at the end of the day, I’ve reflected and tried to see the good within myself.
And this has definitely helped and made a difference.
Mindset can definitely make a difference, when it comes to a lot of things in life. The way you see things will affect your thoughts, your actions, and such.
There is good in so many things in life. Sometimes, we need to take a hard look to find. We need to sit back and really reflect on it.
