    Getting Ready for Christmas

    There’s about a month before Christmas. Okay, well, maybe a little less than that, but you get my point. The countdown is going down to the holidays. A time when things can be stressful for a lot of people. Christmas has always been a stressful time for me. I don’t know if I want to say more so than it has been for others.     Things I wish I was told when I was first diagnosed

    I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 12. My parents told me that I fell under the inattentive type. This meant that I had trouble focusing and remembering things. I’m sure they also explained that there was also the hyperactive type. I imagine they did, as the conversation was so long ago and I don’t quite remember all of it.     I know I’ve been very quiet the last few weeks, and I’m sad to see how little I’ve been able to post on this blog over the last few months.
